Jeffrey Singer, M.D.

Jeffrey H. Singer, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Singer received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training at Duke University’s Department of Ophthalmology in 1994. Dr. Singer is State Licensed in Louisiana and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the New Orleans Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Singer is in private practice in Louisiana. Prior to opening his private practice Dr. Singer was Medical Director for Vision America of Louisiana. He is also a Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology with Tulane University Medical Center. He has performed thousands of ocular surgeries including LASIK, PRK, RK, topical clear cornea cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, retina photocoagulation, and cosmetic eyelid surgery.

Dr. Singer treats in all diseases of the eye including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration and laser vision correction, emphasizing a commitment to providing quality care. Dr. Singer is available 24 hours a day for emergency eye care.

Henry M. Haley, Jr., M.D.

Henry M. Haley, Jr., M.D., has been in practice in the New Orleans/Metairie area for over twenty years. He is a native New Orleanian, and received his undergraduate degree at L.S.U. Baton Rouge. He completed his training at L.S.U. Medical Center in New Orleans, Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, and L.S.U. Eye Center in New Orleans. He received his Board Certification by the American Board Of Ophthalmology in 1990. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgeons. He has performed tens of thousands of procedures for cataracts, vision correction, glaucoma, and oculoplastics. His main interest is with lifestyle premium and astigmatism-correcting implants to help patients achieve their best vision possible.

Dr. Haley is actively involved with leading eye medical and surgical companies in evaluating new technologies and techniques.

M. Christine D’Antonio, M.D.

Christine D’Antonio M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Opthalmology. Dr. D’Antonio received her medical degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Medicine. She completed her surgical training at Louisiana State University’s Department of Opthalmology in 2001. Dr. D’Antonio is State Licensed in Louisiana and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Louisiana and is a member of the American Medical Assocation, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the New Orleans Academy of Opthalmology.

Prior to joining Dr. Singer’s practice, Dr. D’Antonio was the founder and Medical Director of Louisiana Eye Care in Metairie, LA. Dr. D’Antonio’s practice specialized in primary adult and pediatric eye care with a reputation for quality care with a caring personal touch.

In the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, Dr. D’Antonio welcomed the opportunity to merge her practice with Dr. Singer’s. Dr. Singer allowed her to continue her pratice as she had developed for Louisiana Eye Care, which she feels adds a unique dimension to his practice. Dr. D’Antonio is available for appointments in Metairie and on the West Bank.

Leslie Nass Estrada, M.D.

Leslie Nass Estrada, MD is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a native New Orleanian who graduated from Isidore Newman School in 1990 and received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University in the city of NY. She returned home after college to teach high school Chemistry for a year before starting her medical studies at Tulane University School of Medicine. After graduating from Tulane, she moved to Birmingham, AL to complete her surgical training at the UAB Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital. Dr. Estrada is dually licensed in the states of Louisiana and Alabama, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New Orleans Academy of Ophthalmology. She serves on the board of Lighthouse Louisiana.

Dr Estrada is in private practice in Louisiana. Prior to joining Singer-Haley Vision Center, she spent over 10 years at the New Orleans VA Hospital where she enjoyed serving Veterans and teaching resident physicians. She served as one of the Lead Clinical instructors of Ophthalmology for both Tulane and LSU medical schools from 2004-2015. In her free time, she and her husband volunteer on medical mission trips with New Orleans Mission Services (NOMMS) in Central America.

Dr Estrada treats all diseases of the eye including patients who have glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, macular degeneration and prior history of Laser Vision Correction.

Dr Estrada is available for appointments in Metairie and Gretna.

Michael Ostrick, O.D.

Michael Ostrick, O.D. is a 1979 graduate of Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. In 1981 he was a PERK Study Coordinator (Prospective Evaluation of Radial Keratotomony) at LSU Eye Center in New Orleans; as well as did post op evaluations of epikeratophakia patients. Dr. Ostrick also participated in Primate Corneal Research at Delta Regional Primate Center in Covington, LA. From 1982 to present, Dr. Ostrick has been in private practice and participated in FDA Clinical Trials with the Excimer laser; patient trials of PRK and LASIK, as well as many of the Intraocular lenses and medications presently used in Cataract surgery.

 

Erin Farrell, M.D.

Erin Farrell, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Farrell earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Economics at the University of Texas at Austin. She returned to New Orleans where she received her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Dr. Farrell completed her surgical training at Louisiana State University School of Medicine/Ochsner Foundation Hospital in 2010. She is State Licensed in Louisiana and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New Orleans Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Farrell is in private practice where she treats all diseases of the eye including patients who have glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, macular degeneration and prior history of Laser Vision Correction. She is available for appointments in our Metairie location.
